Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
Meetline (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates Piper, an AI-powered B2B sales intelligence platform available at piper.mymeetline.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use Piper.
By using Piper, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect:
- Name and email address
- Company name and job title (if provided)
- Password (stored as a hashed credential via our secure authentication services — we never store your plaintext password)
- Billing contact details (if you subscribe to a paid plan)
ICP and Signal Configuration
To personalise signal detection, we collect information you provide about your Ideal Customer Profile (ICP): target industries, company sizes, geographies, job titles, and signals of interest. This data is stored to power your signal feed and is not shared with third parties for advertising purposes.
Usage Data
We automatically collect information about how you interact with Piper, including:
- Pages and features accessed, and timestamps
- Token consumption per action type
- Browser type, operating system, and IP address
- Referring URL and session duration
Company and Signal Data
Piper scans publicly available information on the open web (news, job postings, company announcements, review platforms) to generate buying signals. This data relates to companies, not individuals, and is sourced from public sources only.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and operate the service — processing your ICP configuration, generating your signal feed, powering AI outreach drafts, and managing your account
- To improve Piper — understanding feature usage, diagnosing bugs, and improving signal quality and AI accuracy
- To communicate with you — sending transactional emails (account confirmation, billing receipts), product updates, and support responses. You may opt out of marketing emails at any time
- To enforce our terms — detecting and preventing misuse, fraud, or violations of our Terms of Service
- To comply with legal obligations — responding to lawful requests from authorities where required
3. Third-Party Services
Piper is built on trusted infrastructure partners. Each receives only the data necessary to perform their function:
- Secure authentication services — User identity and credential management. Your email and authentication data are stored on our behalf by our authentication provider.
- Cloud infrastructure partners — Database and data storage. Your ICP configuration, signal data, and usage records are stored with our cloud infrastructure partners.
- AI processing services — When you use AI features (signal scoring, outreach drafts, ICP analysis), input data is processed by our AI provider. Our AI provider does not train on API data by default.
- Cloud hosting infrastructure — Piper is deployed on enterprise-grade cloud hosting infrastructure.
- Email delivery services — Transactional email delivery. Used to send account and billing emails.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties, and we do not use your data for advertising on external platforms.
4. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes.
Signal data (company-level, not personal) may be retained in aggregate form for product improvement after account deletion.
Token usage logs are retained for 12 months for billing and dispute resolution purposes.
5. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction — Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Deletion — Request deletion of your personal data
- Portability — Receive your data in a portable format
- Objection — Object to certain processing activities
- Restriction — Request restriction of processing in certain circumstances
To exercise any of these rights, email us at piper@mymeetline.com. We will respond within 30 days.
6. Cookies
Piper uses strictly necessary cookies to maintain your authenticated session. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.
Your browser may also store local session data (localStorage) to persist your onboarding progress. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers except through normal API calls.
7. Security
We take security seriously. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access controls ensure that each user can only access their own data. Sensitive credentials are handled exclusively server-side and are never exposed to client code.
If you believe you have found a security vulnerability, please report it responsibly to piper@mymeetline.com.
8. Children
Piper is intended for business use and is not directed at individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify you via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before the change takes effect.
